Done with my latest work!
The challenge of this piece? I nearly went cross-eyed doing the flowers. @_@
I'd started out with more clouds/swings on my sketch but felt the composition makes my drawing looked more like a nursery art after filling in the colors. Ha. I think it looks better now. Oh, I added more flowers too.

Have you ever lost someone close to you and wish that God would help you to pass a message to them? The inspiration of this drawing came about when I was thinking of a late friend. I'd missed her dearly and was wondering how she was doing up in heaven.. I needed to tell her how much I'd miss having her around.

'Awaken Love' was first done in watercolor. I wasn't quite satisfied with the end result, and so I made a second attempt in ink. I like black roses. I know roses come in nearly every color, but not black. And this makes me want to have my very own black roses more. ;)
